As of yesterday at 2:30pm, I am back in the good ol’ US of A. It feels good to be back, but unfortunately I’m currently suffering from jetlag and since I can’t fall back asleep, I figured “why not blog at 3am?” Seems like a good idea.
My travels through Europe were incredible. We started in Budapest, Hungary and then visited Vienna, Melk, Passau, Regensberg, Nuremberg and Prague. It was a whirlwind tour, but it was incredible — so many amazing sites, so much history, so many fabulous memories — and of course, so much delicious food.
I’ll go into more details about my trip in a series of posts as I traverse the country with Mr. K, moving me to California. And on that front — my belongings arrive at my California apartment tomorrow. And Julia and her husband are being so wonderful as to go meet my movers and “count”/survey my stuff to make sure it has all arrived in one piece. So thankful to them for doing that since there is no way I could be out there in time. And a week from today, I’ll be moving into my itsy bitsy apartment in Northern California, starting a new chapter in my education/career. Can’t believe its this close!
But, as I should probably try to go back to sleep, I’ll leave you with a little teaser of what is to come in my Europe posts…
